Tianping ‘Tim’ Huangis a senior engineering manager at Baker Hughes. His research interests are in stimulation, completion, EOR, water control, and production. Huang currently serves as a technical editor of SPE journals and had served many SPE forum and workshop committees. He has authored more than 30 technical papers and holds 60 US patents. Huang holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from University of Texas at Austin。

Dr. Jinis currently the Petrophysics Advisor and Team Lead of Petrophysics Group at Dhahran Global Technology Center of Baker Hughes, Saudi Arabia. His current work focuses on developing/applying new technologies in petrophysics, geomechanics, log interpretation and core analysis for characterizing and evaluating unconventional shale reservoirs in Middle East region. He holds a Ph.D. in Reservoir Engineering and Petrophysics (2006), and a Master’s degree in Rock Mechanics and Geomechanics (2001), both from The University of California at Berkeley. Guodong Jin completed his B.Eng. degree in Drilling Engineering at China University of Petroleum (East China), and M. Eng. in Petroleum Engineering at China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Dr. Jin has published more than 35 papers in various refereed technical journals and international conferences and 15 patent applications and invention disclosures. His paper published in Petrophysics journal (Vol. 48, No.2, 2007) was selected by Editors as the Best Paper in the 2007 Volumes of Petrophysics. He has served as technical editor and reviewers for various journals: SPE Journal, SPE Reservoir Evaluation & Engineering, Journal of Petroleum Science & Engineering; Journal of Canadian Petroleum Technology, Petrophysics, Computers & Geosciences.
