Colin Mackerras 教授簡介：

Colin Mackerras ( FAHA, AO) has a PhD in China studies from the AustralianNational University. He

worked at Griffith University In Queensland, Australia,from 1974 to his retirement in 2004. He is

currently chair professor at Renmin Universityof China and professor emeritus at Griffith University in

Australia. His manyresearch areas include Chinese modern history, theater, past and present,Australia-

China relations, and he has written widely on all of these. His manybooks include Western images of

China,Revised Edition (Oxford University Press, Hong Kong, 1999), China in Transformation 1900-1949,

2ndEdition (London and New York, 2008). He is a fellow of the Academy of theHumanities of Australia and

an Officer in the Order of Australia.
