Pursuing the Deepest Love for Traditional Poetry, A Poet-guard from the Southeast University Went Popular on Campus
視詩詞為最大嗜好 東南大學(xué)“詩人保安”走紅校園
With a double identities - as a guard and a poet - Yu Zaiquan combines his work with hobby on ordinary days, feeling that reading and writing poems cannot only help kill time but also enrich himself. During the night shift, he wrote a poem which reads: "The wind blows hard at night, with fewer figures walking on the road. Picking up the pen, however, I felt lost for words, in a cool air-conditioned room." Comparing his poem with "the spring night" written by the famous ancient poet Wang Anshi, the guard says with a laughter, "That was written by him on his night watch, so was this one by me, only that mine is not as good."
平日里，擁有保安與詩人雙重身份的他，工作與愛好相和，他覺得讀詩寫詩既能消磨時光也能充實自己。值夜班時，于在泉就寫了首詩：“晚來風(fēng)聲急，路上人漸稀。憑借空調(diào)力，提筆又無語”。于師傅笑著比起王安石的《春夜》一詩，“哈哈，他是上夜班寫的，我也是上夜班寫詩，只不過寫得不如他好”。
I did not recite poetry blindly or anxiously. I learn by heart those which resonate with me. " He says.
“與我心境相合的我都背”，于在泉說。
Growing up in Nanjing, Yu is grateful to his birthplace which had been the capital in six dynasties and is full of cultural heritage. He shows great affection to every tree and shrub at this place. Bearing all the traditional Chinese poems in mind, he sometimes would burst with inspiration for his own poems. So when he has time, he will visit the historic attractions, writing down his new poems.
金陵城長大的于在泉，十分慶幸自己是六朝古都的人，這里有太多的文化積淀，故他對這里的一山一水一草一木，都有深厚的情感。于在泉在熟讀了古詩詞之后，便有了抒發(fā)的欲望。一有時間，他就會古跡的地方鍛煉。
With more poems accumulated in mind, more places visited and more people acquainted, he spontaneously has inspiration and impulse to compose new poems. without professional training in poetry, the way he composes his poems is different. Considering his limitation in vocabulary and the risk of confining his ideas, he does not rigidly follow some rule of writing when composing. Instead, he just depicts his personal experiences and feelings in a natural way. What distinguishes him from others who write poems at the desk is that all of his works are done in different places, which reflect his true feelings about these historic attractions.
讀得多了，背得多了，跑的地方多了，所見的人與物熟悉了，靈感也就來了，自然有了創(chuàng)作的沖動。于在泉作詩行云流水。與常人作詩不同，他并沒有學(xué)格律、押韻，一方面考慮到自身詞匯不夠，另一方面也怕束縛自己的思維，所以他作詩從不硬想，只是自然地表達自己的親身經(jīng)歷和內(nèi)心情感。和別人坐在窗前桌下寫詩不同，于在泉的詩都是跑出來的，對南京的每一處勝跡都發(fā)自內(nèi)心作了吟頌，每一首都是真情實感的寫照。
" Poet-Guard is way too exaggerated,’ Yu zaiquan is humble to decline this title, thinking that his interests in the traditional poetry cannot count as an act of wording and phrasing or an in-depth study.
“保安詩人不夠格，只能說愛好詩詞的保安”對于“保安詩人”的稱呼，于在泉十分謙虛，覺得自己只不過是愛好詩詞，不能算得上真正地遣詞造句、深度鉆研。

Success at the First Environmental Music Festival in SWPU
我校首屆環(huán)保音樂節(jié)成功舉辦
On April 20, the first environmental music festival was held at the building of art in SWPU. The green association and the music club sponsored this event, with help from the FCL association, the secretariat of the school of geoscience and technology, the dandelion studio and the new media of the law school.
四月二十日，我校首屆環(huán)保音樂節(jié)在藝術(shù)大樓成功舉辦。本次活動由綠洲協(xié)會和音樂俱樂部主辦，FCL協(xié)會、地科院秘書處、蒲公英工作室和法學(xué)院新媒體協(xié)辦。
In the national people’s congress and the Chinese political consultative conference this year, the environment preservation has once again become the focus of the public eye. This music festival highly correlated to the spirit of the environmental conservation, encouraging college students to make more efforts in preserving nature, starting from the details. Everyone who attended the show learned a lot about environment protection while enjoying the visual and acoustic feast.
今年兩會環(huán)保再次成為大眾的焦點，本次音樂節(jié)積極響應(yīng)環(huán)保，呼吁大學(xué)生去關(guān)注環(huán)保，從點滴小事做起。到場的觀眾在享受視聽盛宴的同時也了解到許多環(huán)保知識。
During this event, music met environmental protection. Major activities included performing, environmental trivia and lottery draw.
本次活動是一次音樂與環(huán)保的碰撞，主要環(huán)節(jié)包括歌曲表演、環(huán)保知識競猜、抽獎等。
What is worth mentioning is the environmental trivia, which not only presented the theme of this event, but also helped the students gain the knowledge of conserving environment. After the festival, Qiu Li, president of the green boat association said “it took a great deal of hard work to link the environmental preservation to music. We treated every detail meticulously. Every staff had been crucial from the selection of the performances and preparations to the end of the event. We shall work along with each other, moving forward on the road of protecting the environment.”
值得一提的是環(huán)保知識競猜環(huán)節(jié)，不僅展現(xiàn)了本次活動的主題，還讓到場學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)到有關(guān)環(huán)保的知識。活動結(jié)束后，綠洲協(xié)會會長邱麗說到：“講環(huán)保與音樂聯(lián)系在一起著實不易，我們認真對待每一個細節(jié)，從節(jié)目的篩選與準(zhǔn)備到活動的圓滿完成，離不開所有工作人員的付出與努力。我們環(huán)保路上，一路同行。”

Thieves Ransacked an English Museum for a Number of Artifacts
英國一博物館遭小偷洗劫，數(shù)件文物被盜
A few days ago, 4 masked men broke into a museum in the city of Bath in Southwest England and looted more than 40 Chinese artifacts including jade, porcelain and gold pieces. The police is investigating it now.
日前，四名蒙面男子闖入了英國西南部巴斯市的一座博物館，并偷走了包括玉器、瓷器和黃金制品在內(nèi)的超過40件中國文物，警方正在進行調(diào)查。
The police suggested that these thieves targeted the Museum of East Asian Art on Bennett Street and conducted the larceny deliberately. They announced that a witness said 4 masked men were smashing through a window of the museum at around 1:20.a.m and leaving by a dark colored SUV on last Tuesday.
警方認為這些小偷看準(zhǔn)了班尼特街上的東亞藝術(shù)博物館，有計劃地實施了本次文物偷盜。警方稱，有目擊者稱看到四名蒙面男子在上周二凌晨1時20分左右從博物館破窗而入實施盜竊，隨后乘坐一輛深色SUV離開。
The curator of the museum said:“we deeply feel shocked and sad about this burglary. Not only do the stolen objects have significant historical and cultural value, but also contain the irreplaceable emotional value for the founder of our museum.”
該博物館的館長表示：“我們對這起偷竊事件深感震驚和悲傷。被盜文物不僅具有重要的歷史和文化價值，對我們博物館的創(chuàng)始人來說還有著不可替代的情感價值。”
With the investigation going on, the police is inquiring and looking through CCTV from door to door. “We suspect it may be a larceny which attacks against the artifacts.” Said detective Sergeant Matthew Reed, “These items range in monetary value, but their cultural significant is invaluable.”
調(diào)查工作仍在繼續(xù)，警方正在進行挨家挨戶詢問并查看監(jiān)控錄像。偵緝警長馬修·里德稱：“從被盜物品和盜竊速度來看，我們懷疑這可能是一次有針對性的文物盜竊犯罪，這些文物的價值不等，但它們的文化意義是無價的。”

How is the AI Chip Enterprise in China? The Latest World Industry Ranking List Provided the Result
中國AI芯企到底怎么樣？這份全球最新行業(yè)排行榜給出了答案
The development of chip industry has aroused wide concern. Recently, the market research consultant Compass Intelligence has released the chart of global AI chip companies in 2018. The list has studied more than 100 enterprises around the world, and the results showed: in the two “A-List” list (one only includes AI chip suppliers, and the other has both suppliers and companies providing hardware and software for AI chipset ), both UK and China got high score and reached the top of the list, but in the top ten of the list, there is no Chiese industries.
芯片行業(yè)的發(fā)展日漸成為了一個廣受關(guān)注的話題。近日，市場研究顧問Compass Intelligence發(fā)布了2018年度全球AI芯片公司排行榜。這份榜單對全球100多家企業(yè)進行了調(diào)研，結(jié)果顯示：兩份A-List榜單（分別是僅含AI芯片供應(yīng)商的榜單、含AI芯片供應(yīng)商及提供AI芯片組軟硬件公司的榜單）中，英達均以高分領(lǐng)先，位居第一，但兩份榜單的前十名，都不見中國企業(yè)的身影。
However, it can be seen from the list that there is still a big gap between Chinese chip companies and foreign leading enterprises. Being the largest integrated circuit Market in the world, China is still heavily dependent on imports for chips, especially high-end chips.
但從榜單可以看出，中國芯片企業(yè)與國外龍頭企業(yè)間仍存在較大差距，中國作為全球最大的集成電路市場，芯片仍然嚴(yán)重依賴進口，尤其是高端芯片。
According to the statistics of China Semiconductor Industry Association, sales of China's IC industry reached 541 billion 130 million yuan in 2017, with an increase of 24.8% over the same period last year. The high sales are also accompanied by high import fees, and which even surpassed oil to be the top one in the import list for many years. Since 2013, China needs to import more than 200 billion US dollars chips every year. In 2017, this number reached a historical record of 260 billion 100 million US dollars.
據(jù)中國半導(dǎo)體行業(yè)協(xié)會統(tǒng)計，2017年中國集成電路產(chǎn)業(yè)銷售額達到5411.3億元，同比增長24.8%。高銷售的背后也伴隨著高額的進口費，甚至連續(xù)多年超越石油成為進口名單第一名。2013年以來，中國每年需要進口超過2000億美元的芯片，2017年這一數(shù)字創(chuàng)歷史新高，達2601億美元。
This phenomenon has also attracted the attention of relevant departments of the state to the IC industry. <The national integrated circuit industry development program> issued by the State Council has clearly pointed out that the gap between the domestic and the advanced international level must be narrowed by 2020. The annual growth rate of sales revenue in the whole industry must increase over 20%; the main links of the industry chain must reach the international advanced level in 2030, and a batch of enterprises must enter the first international echelon to accomplish the leap forward.
這一現(xiàn)象也引起了國家相關(guān)部門對集成電路產(chǎn)業(yè)的重視。國務(wù)院日前印發(fā)的《國家集成電路產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展推進綱要》明確提出，到2020年與國際先進水平的差距逐步縮小，全行業(yè)銷售收入年均增速超過20％；2030年產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈主要環(huán)節(jié)達到國際先進水平，一批企業(yè)進入國際第一梯隊，實現(xiàn)跨越發(fā)展。

A New Antibody Drug Has Been Developed to Fight against HIV by Scientists from the University of Hong Kong
香港大學(xué)研發(fā)出新型對抗艾滋的抗體藥物
"A team led by scientists from the University of Hong Kong has developed a new antibody drug that will not only protect people from contracting HIV but also serve as a long-acting treatment for the virus, unlike current medication that must be taken daily."
“由香港大學(xué)科學(xué)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的一個研究小組開發(fā)了一種新的抗體藥物，不僅可以保護人們免于感染艾滋病病毒，而且還可以作為病毒的長效治療藥物，與目前每天必須服用的藥物不同。”
There will be further tests before the drug, named "BiIA-SG", can be part of the global battle against the virus, which causes Aids. The research team has so far only tested the drug on mice but is now looking to experiment on larger animals such as monkeys, before conducting clinical trials on humans. Still, Professor Chen Zhiwei, the team leader and director of HKU’s Aids Institute, stressed the scientific discovery had yielded "one of the most potent and effective antibody drugs". This is because the study showed that mice given the drug before being infected with HIV were protected from the virus for about a week.

In addition, the experiments, which also involved experts from mainland medical and research institutions, found that when mice were infected with HIV before being treated, 42 per cent had an "undetectable level" of the virus for at least four weeks after one injection of antibodies. The tests found that the drug was effective against 124 strains of HIV, including those that are commonly found in infected people from Hong Kong and mainland China.

On April 22th, the 49th World Earth Day, a commonweal organization named The Promotion Center of Shenzhen for Blue and Low Carbon Development (short for Goal Blue ) actively responded to the theme of “ cherishing natural resources and care for beautiful lands”, and successfully held the premiere called "I CARE" in Beijing.
2018年4月22日，第49個“世界地球日”，公益組織“深圳市為藍低碳發(fā)展促進中心”（簡稱：Goal Blue ）積極響應(yīng)“珍惜自然資源呵護美麗國土”的主題，在北京成功舉行“I CARE”（我在乎）計劃啟動發(fā)布會。
